I’m Helena Golden, founder of Helena’s Deluxe Kitchen and a Food & Nutrition graduate from La Trobe University (Melbourne, Australia).
I spent much of my career in food retail, where I learned to appreciate all aspects of the food chain, including the role that each party in the chain has in making healthy food available. That spirit of responsibility inspires our small-batch cereals. We focus on simple processes, thoughtful sourcing, and clear nutrition so shoppers can pick up something delicious and dependable at an everyday price.
Our recipes are guided by nutrition science—especially how dietary patterns influence wellbeing over time. Diet can influence gene expression. That is hugely empowering for all of us. I’m excited by the future of personalised nutrition, where guidance is tuned to phenotype and real-world outcomes. Even now, the growing links between diet, gut ecology and gene expression are strong enough to change how we make breakfast.
